Just thought I'd give everyone a bit of a head's up that something exciting is on its way!

 David's posted a new blog on his myspace page-

something a bit different it seems- so it's got me intrigued.

 'Morning Song' and 'Shine' were both different from what we'd heard before from David.

Just wanted to let you know that coming very soon, we are going to be posting another new song in my MySpace music player. This is another rough demo with lyrics written once again, by the amazing ROBIN LERNER great track created by STEPHAN OBERHOFF and beautiful music also written by STEPHAN OBERHOFF and MARSHA MALAMET. The song is called PAPER AIRPLANES.

The style of the song is a bit of a departure from my other featured demos in the player here, so I am really looking forward to getting your feedback and hearing what you have to say.

David's amazing new song "Paper Airplanes" has now been added to his MySpace player.

This song is indeed quite different from his previous solo work, but no less fabulous that's for sure! I absolutely love the words, tune and of course David's gorgeous interpretations of both. He brings such energy and passion to it as usual, breathing life into the beautiful bare bones Robin Lerner has created.

Whew- thought I'd never get here- Took me ages to modify the top post- an hour ago-

Thought I'd post my thoughts down here- rather than up there.

Our David's done it again. he has an amazing voice - and just embraces all manner of styles of songs and makes them his own.

This is such an interesting song. Hooked me from the intro- and when David started singing- wow-

the music builds to the chorus- which you find yourself singing the second time it kicks in  (I LOVE big choruses)

and then towards the end of the song the latin beat kicks in.

A David cd just can't come quick enough for me.  I'd love to have all these songs to play whenever I wanted.

As with all the other solo songs posted on My Space, this too is a beautiful song, and, as you say, sung beautifully by David, but, I do so miss hearing his wonderful soaring 'operatic' voice (just a small, personal observation).

Congratulations David on yet another successful solo rendition.

I agree with you Pat.  Even though these songs are lovely and very touching, they don't show reveal the magnificence of David's voice that a song like "La Fiamma Sacra" and "Nessum Dorma" do.  I miss that too.  I hope he's not going over to the 'other' side!!

Yes, I quite agree .. pleasant as these songs are, as they say "If you've got it flaunt it!" .. and he's certainly got it!

Well, I got to listen to it and then it disappeared again. I do like it as it really shows how diverse our boy is, but I do really love to hear his voice "soar".
