Since the new site is up I'm not notified of replies to threads that I've posted in.  Is there somethig I need to set up for this?

    Re: Replies

Hi 12th of never, to recieve email alerts for replies on threads you have posted  go into your profile by

    a) clicking your user name in the top LH corner or
    b) clicking on Edit Profile in the shortcuts box on the RH panel

From there you will see your profile options and a tab that says email. Go there and you will see

    Email Options

    Receive Emails:
    YesNo
    Receive rich (HTML) emails
    YesNo
Enable Email Notifications of forum/thread subscriptions and replies to my posts.
    YesNo

Make sure you select yes for receive emails and enable email notification. HTML emails is dependent on your preference, but it can be changed at any time.

    I hope this helps Geeked

    Re: Replies

Glad to see you could keep your user name.

I'm thinking you just need to click on the tab at the top of the thread- ENABLE E MAIL SUBSCRIPTION:

and that will notify you of replies to the thread.   Hope that does the trick!

I know I discovered a place that had 3 tick boxes for e mail stuff... but not sure if that came up in one of my moderator functions.  I'll keep searching and re-post if i discover it again and its relevant.

Edted to add:  Jinx kendall!   Thanks - you posted the answer to my little .."where DID I see that again??"

    Re: Replies

Well, I've already done this and still no notifications Huh?  This happened before and I had no idea why.  I logged myself off and then logged back in the next day and it seemed to do the trick.  I guess I'll try that and see it that works again.

Thanks for the help, I'll let you know

    Re: Replies

You may want to check the filter on your email and ensure the messages are not being blocked. Try adding www.amiciforever.com to your safe list. This function is working fine for me.

Is anyone else having problems with this function?
