I know! I know!  Just as well they announced the dates before I decided to go to see him in Japan!

Just waiting...waiting.....waiting...... for the pre-sale tickets to go on line. 

But we've all been there done that haven't we?? Played the waiting game!

 I'm in Rufy ticket limbo... and it's killing me!!!

Rufy tickets went on sale today- and I have front row seats for brisbane- 2nd row seats for Adelaide- and 10th row and 9th row for Sydney and Melbourne!

Might have to put a new countdown on my siggy!!

What is his fan base like out here??? Do you think it will be jam-packed????

We really should have gone to the Northcote Social Club to see Martha last year Bev. . I love those sorts of venues - you stand up there all night with your beer in your hand and smoke in your face. It was an old corner pub - the Commercial Hotel - I think it fits about 300 or so standing up.  I think she would suit that sort of venue - what about Rufus??? He's probably too big for it now. Or are his shows more suited to the concert hall?.  Micah P Hinson played there last year and I've just looked on his website and it looked like he was going to do a show with your Rufy in Madrid in June but it was cancelled due to his back problems.

No more of the smoke in your face any more- because of the  indoor smoking bans since July.

Rufy was at The Basement in Sydney and Manchester Lane in Melbourne. But he was a one man show then- playing piano and guitar.

This time he has his band/dancers and the gigs are at Hamer Hall in Melbourne, State Theatre in Sydney, Tivoli in Brisbane and Norwood Town Hall in Adelaide.  So they're much bigger venues this time round. The billing says 'and friends' - so he has support acts- but I don't know who at the moment.

Maybe Martha might 'pop' in as a surprise??

They are showing the Rufus tribute to Judy on channel 4 right now - it was recorded at one of the live shows at the Palladium!

Carol noticed it was on and is recording it for you!

Are you watching? I'm wondering just what they're showing- as the show went for nearly 3 hours and the TV show is just 1 hour.

This show was the second one- (I went to the first) -

and people who saw both said he was absolutely beyond brilliant the second show.

 His Mum was at this show- and she'd recently overcome some ill health issues- so I'm guessing he was pulling out all the stops to celebrate the fact that she was well enough to make the trip to see him.

I can't wait to see the show!   It looks like he won't be doing Judy down here in Oz- which is so disappointing for us all.
