I thought I'd float this idea and see if there's any interest and what people think about it.
Some year's back I posted on the now defunct Time- Warner boards - and we had a group that lived all over the world that discussed films.
We took turns to choose a title that was available to all from their local shops.
Then we'd all watch the weekly title- and discuss our thoughts about the film- characters- plot etc.
It was great to get other insights about the same film you've watched- and how we all had our different perceptions- and sympathies - for the characters.
I sit at the computer and watch TV- so often lose track of plots.
This will be a way of getting me back to actually sitting and watching something with my undivided attention. And it's a way to share a film you're passionate about- to see if others develop the same passion!
So if others are interested- we could make a list of members- and get started.
Easter would be a great downtime to squeeze in watching a film curled up at home -(for me- any way)
So I'll start the ball rolling- I'm choosing one of my favourite films- that I hope other enjoy:
"Immortal Beloved" with Gary Oldman
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110116/
We could discuss it for a week then watch the next person's selection.
