Latest news, updates & articles from Geoff Sewell

Thought you might be interesed to read these recent articles about Geoff Sewell, catching up on his latest adventures!

    Play it again, Geoff

When Geoff Sewell fulfilled a life long dream by singing the New Zealand national anthem at last years Bledisloe Cup match, between the All Blacks and Australia, he made quite a big impression, with what the New Zealand Rugby Union termed ‘the most passionate performance of the anthem we have ever heard’.

And in fact they were so impressed that they've chosen Geoff to perform the anthem again, flying him business class all the way from London in order to hear his dulcet tones echoing around the stadium once more!

Geoff is absolutely delighted and honoured to be singing the NZ anthem before 50,000 fans at the Jade Stadium, Christchurch, when New Zealand (All Blacks) take on South Africa (Springboks). The game, which is part of the prestigious Tri-Nations Tournament held between New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, will take place on Saturday 14th July at 19:35 local time.

It's certain that Geoff will once again provide a passionate, stirring and rousing rendition of the anthem before the game and after spurring the All Blacks on to an impressive victory last time, he'll no doubt be hoping for a repeat performance from his team too!

    Incognito Rock Wimbledon!

With little to cheer in the way of on court action, Incognito Artists brightened up proceedings at the biggest tennis tournament in the world.

After celebrating his company's busiest month ever, CEO and Director of Incognito Artists, Geoff Sewell decided to head down to SW19 and entertain the appreciative, if slightly soggy crowds as they waited in line on Monday. Together with fellow performing artists Jim Heath and Helen George, they walked up and down the line singing opera and raising spirits through the rain.

When asked by reporters from Sky News and Australia's Channel 7 why they were there, former NZ junior tennis representative Geoff replied, "I'm a big fan! I queued outside when I first arrived in London 10 years ago and I come back to this hallowed ground every year. This time because of the rain we just wanted to spread some Incognito love and put smiles on people's faces!"

They certainly achieved that with their great music, although with continuing downpours at the event, perhaps the organisers should have made a request for "Bring me Sunshine"!

    Glad you enjoyed them

Lily, you're probably right about the rain, our dreadful weather lately has certainly kept the skin  (and everything else for that matter) well hydrated! Confused

Thanks, Jo!  I don't always catch this stuff on Geoff's site - too many people to keep track of these day!  Sounds like our Geoff is doing well these days.

Re: Sneak preview of Geoff's Interview with NZ TV

Thank, Jo!  I caught that interview tonight.  And he does look younger (have to ask him what moisturizer he is using)  Maybe there is something to that theory about English weather!  It is really great to see him doing so well.  Lots of hugs to you and to Geoff and his girls!

Geoff off to Prague to record new solo album

Geoff in Prague to record new solo album

Geoff Sewell today jetted off to Prague to start laying down tracks for his highly anticipated debut solo album.

After his recent near death experience at the London Triathlon, the charismatic Kiwi tenor is keener than ever to begin recording with the Prague Orchestra this week.

The album will be Geoff's first recording project since leaving his multi-platinum selling opera band, Amici Forever, in 2006 and he is hugely excited about this new "dream in the making".

Speaking about the album in a recent interview, he revealed how "stoked" he is about the new journey he's about to embark on and is currently throwing himself into the project with even more energy and passion than ever, with a renewed vigour and lease on life.

The coming weeks are certainly going to be busy and exciting for Geoff Sewell, but you get the impression he wouldn't have it any other way!

Re: Geoff off to Prague to record new solo album

Doesn't that boy know the meaning of 'take it easy'. Huh? Don't want him to have any more 'near death' experiences from overdoing it before he's fully recovered Sad
