Can't Wait!
Hi there! Have you packed your picnic? Last Monday we
went to Eastbourne to take some pictures and promote our show, including an
interview for the local radio station. The area is just beautiful. We went to
Eastbourne College where they have an open field right in front of the main
entrance.
It's just huge and breathtaking. Can't wait!
Straight afterwards we went for a visit to St Wilfrid's
Hospice and a live interview for Sovereign radio station. As the weather didn't
improve we had to postpone our group surfing on the beach.
Big hugs

Trying To Regain My Brazilian Looks
Ola! Hope you all had a great Easter. I didn’t have an egg hunt but got some chocolate goodies.
As the weather was unusually good – no clouds, sun shining, warm breeze – I decided to go to a park near where I live and spend some time trying to regain my Brazilian looks. Of course that didn’t work out. Red was not what I had in mind.
Big hug!

It's Time To Celebrate!
Ola everybody!!
The big day is coming: April 12! Why is it so special? Firstly, Anthemius was elevated to Emperor of the Western Roman Empire. Secondly, Yuri Gagarin became the first man to fly in space and last but not least, Bruno Santino was born on this day too!
Yes, it's time to celebrate! Thanks for the birthday thread. I loved the birthday song in Portuguese! You did get the lyrics right, thank you! I wish you all were here to celebrate with me.
Massive hugs all round and I hope see you all very soon.

More On The Way
Ola everybody! Sorry for the huge time gap but we've been a bit busy with rehearsals and working on the songs for the new album (Yes!! And I can tell you some of the ideas were discussed here in the forum! Point for you guys!)
We also had a photoshoot, so new pics coming soon shortly! And, of course, some behind the scenes videos made by "moi"!

Feliz Ano Novo!!
FELIZ ANO NOVO!! So, here we are, 2007!! Hope you all had a
great time! For New Years I went to Brussels. Wonderful place! I’ve never eaten
so many mussels in my life. The Grand Place was beautifully decorated.
They had those image projections on the buildings and a very good sound system,
considering the size of the square. I recommend.
Good things about 2006? I
joined AMICI(!), I travelled to places I never even dreamed about, I’ve made
lots of new friends (Ammiratori!) and I recorded some Christmas tunes a
cappella (for BBC 5Live). I always wanted to record something a
cappella. Maybe is because of my choir background. I really loved it.
Bad
things about 2006? I could have taken more pictures. I’ve just got a new camera.
Hope see you all very soon with some very exciting news! Massive hugs to
everybody! X

The Twickenham Gig
Ola! Just a quick update on the Twickenham gig. It was unbelievable,
honestly!!
The stadium was packed! 82,000 thousand people! A perfect set up for
Lucy's
first gig with us. And she handled really well!! We were there facing
the
tunnel, in the middle of the pitch when the teams were announced. And
the
audience, man, they must lose their voices after the game. They were
screaming their heads off! And then came those "tiny" guys towards us.
If I
wasn't wearing suit I would tackle one. We don't have rugby in Brazil.
That
would be my chance. But what was really breathtaking was the minute of
silence we did just before the anthems. To see 82,000 people in
complete
silence was indescribable. It's a complete different energy. I
completely
agree with the chinese saying: "Silence Tells More Than Sound". Now
it's
Christmas time. Some good news coming up! Beijos, BS

Back from Brazil
Ola everybody! I’m back! From where? Guess. I give you 3 chances.
No… No… Yes!! Terra Brasilis! Only for 2 weeks though. And it rained
every single day…. But, hey! Brazil is Brazil. Raining or not we still
dance samba and go to the beach! Now I’m back in London, and it’s
raining… But I’m very excited about tomorrow! Twickenham Stadium,
80,000 people! I hope I don’t forget the lines. By the way I’d like to
thanks Tsak for teaching us the SA Anthem. 5 different languages and
one of the only anthems that has got a key change. Not easy! Now I’m
here trying to find directions for the stadium. I want to go driving. I
don’t know if I’ve mentioned before but I’ve just got my British Drive
License, after 277834 lessons. Hey, comon, I was used to drive on the
right side of the road!
So, if you see me passing by, watch out!!

Keep the Suggestions Coming
Hello people! It's really hot here. It feels like Rio de Janeiro, but
without the girl from Ipanema :o) Yesterday we met up to discuss
repertoire
for our next album. Exciting! Some of the suggestions in the forum
(vide
"Suggestions Thread") were taken into account. Point for you guys! But
please don't stop posting. It's not definite yet. Big thanks! Now I'm
looking for an open air swimming pool. Not easy... xBS

Part of Amici
Ola!! I’m back from a well deserved holiday. The UK tour was great. I’ve
never been to so many different places in so short period of time. It’s
kind of weird. When you wake up you are never sure where you really
are. The venues, the audience, the after show meetings, the room
service(!), it was a wonderful experience that I will never forget. A
small step for them, but a huge step for me. Now I understand what is
to be part of Amici. And I want more!
Hope to see you all very soon!

My First Diary
Ola all! My first diary appearance! Can you see my head shot on the
left
hand side? :o) It’s being amazing these first 3 months with the group.
Everything changed so fast. From some small scale concerts to singing
in
front of 6000 people in Australia, show in Dubai, chatting live on TV
in
London, performing to a sold-out Royal Albert Hall and singing to a
massive
crowd just before a football mach, on the center of the field!
Sometimes I
have to stop to really believe. The group has been fantastic to me. We
became friends since day one. David looks after my pronunciation, Jo my
looks and Tsakane my dancing skills. Actually lambada is kind of
out-of-date
in Brazil. Now everybody must dance “Forro”. It’s very good! Now we are
going through intensive rehearsal for the UK tour. I still can’t manage
to
do the air split.
Hope see you all there! Um super beijo, Bruno
