David Habbin (Tenor)
David comes from Ringwood in the South of England and spent several years performing and writing with rock/pop bands before he began vocal training with international operatic tenor, Jon Andrew and secured funding to study acting and music theatre at Mountview Theatre School in North London. With his studies there completed, engagements followed including performances of Les Miserables and West Side Story both on tour and in the West End of London. David then consolidated his operatic training at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and performed with various UK opera companies, including the Glyndebourne Festival Opera for their Summer Festival and their touring company before joining Amici forever.

What was your first pet and what was he / she called? Black and white cat...I named her Mowgli
If you could swap places with any other member of a band, who would it be and why? Jimmy Page in the heyday of Led Zep, to play guitar like a god for one night
If you could choose an animal, what would you be and why? Some kind of very fast bird (who wouldn't want to fly?) OR a big happy, scruffy dog that lives in the country chasing everything in sight then sleeps for hours by the fire, dreaming of chasing everything in sight. Simple bliss.
What would people be most surprised to know about you? So much potential here... ermm.... I'm a Wizard? :-)
What is your most prized possession? Am honestly not that big on possessions - my Mac laptop is a close friend – maybe all my old rare Prince 12" singles - oh, I have the giant Times World Atlas which I love.
One piece of advice - Re-cycle... and watch the movie ‘An Inconvenient Truth’
